Yet again that is great advice from OEJ and it applies to all, in front of and behind the camera!

One thing that this all this chit chat does clarify is something I mentioned on the subject a million times before.

It seems individuals personal definitions of WANT vary so widely across the board that sometimes it seems like a completely different language to me when I hear people say...

"I WANT to get into porn!"

10 do a decent demo
1 gets signed.

Porn Auditions is the "doing a demo", with the added advantage that your customers are there. So you have already eliminated 99% of the competition.

But be realistic - the regular work, the kind that lets you quit the day job, will go to the gym fit guy who is reasonably tall and decently good looking, and personable and who does the business.

If this is you, keep plugging away. If not, be realistic.

There is a place for older, less fit, shorter (but hey, still Ok looking) guys who can do it, as I know much to my enjoyment over the past few years. But I have never thought of porn as my main income, and I'd have been an idiot to do so.

In hine sight by the these guy's flaking out now saves producer/director's alot of time and money (I feel for Terry), due to the fact that if they start flaking out on set, it fucks up a shoot and leaves the producer more reluctant the use new guys, also time waster and guy's that do this job for little or no fee are simply fucking things up for those other guys in the industry that are trying to make a living, so flakers just piss off and shag a brass or something!!! lol.
