As making references to being an escort or doing escort work are baned, perhaps we could agree on a eupromism, such as the do in America, and refer to extra curricular activities as 'Doing a private' ???

Hiya big al, glad your back in the debate! Lets just say i also partake in private ??? So i obviously know how both work. If i didn't partake in private ??? Then i would have no right to pre judge. I've had many people try and judge this industry for years, mainly confused old school friends who probably watch loads of porn anyway! Well said Snow patrol, Swingers & Escorts were our main support when we started so we have always help each other like most do in the amateur industry, the escorts we know have regular health checks like models & as a plus always use condoms as well so in our eyes they are as safe to shoot as any model.
The stigma of working girls is a British thing really as people overseas don't even bat an eyelid when discussing escorts & now being fueled with our crazy goverment ministers the girls/guys are even slated by the industry who should be standing solid with them, one day it will be a proper adult industry like overseas but until then it will be lots of various groups trying to slate each other whenever they get the chance.
This debate also goes the other way as a lot of escorts would not want to work for the money most models are paid & don't like giving their details for everyone to see or have recorded proof of their activities so both have problems which need to be sorted.

I can't say too much as my posts keep getting edited. Just to clarify i do not think one is better than the other at all. Lets just say i know plenty about both subjects. If i didn't i don't feel i would have any right to comment at. Trust me i came from a small town and everybody found out what i did, some thought it was great, others really slated me. Kim is right, escorts at least have there privacy and the fact that she pays them upfront is ace! I can't see that happening with many others companies tho. And there's me thinking you were avoiding the question Teoni! For what it's worth (and most will say it's worth nothing!) I wholeheartedly agree with you, and you speak from having experience on both sides of the fence, which I respect. No-one will ever convince me that one is more or less respectable than the other, nor that the presence of a camera creates some distinction on what is still, in a gonzo/POV/amateur situation, the act (excuse the pun) on the part of the male of "paying for sex". The health argument is a red herring as witnessed by numerous posts under this thread, as is any debate around post-shoot activities. How many pov-style clips are displayed on this forum from the point of view of the cameraman getting his end away (as opposed to offering a proven commercially viable/artistic end-product)?
