What I really dont understand is why something this simple, has become so complicated?
There are certain issues to be addressed, that I understand.
Namely,
1) No under 18s
2) No one just walking in off the street. / Buying a ticket on the door

So why not simply have a form that you can fill out online to register your interest?
You can then confirm that you did register an interest by sending the email back. (Nice 'opt-in' email addys for SB)
This in turn sends you back a code / number which is tied into your specific name and address...
Then on the night, simply turn up, with that code/number.
Present ID at the door, which matches the pre registered info on file and pay your twenty pounds in cash?

Problem solved.

As the twenty pounds are going to charity, surely doing it this way would avoid any extra costs being deducted from the billing agent and enable more of the money to reach the charity itself?
Better end result, and a better end attendee figure, (And a better donation)
Much simpler all round, and everyone's happy...
