I was thinking of going but mine is blocked too, trouble is my mobile account is in the name of the photo agency I work for so can not get it unblocked. Looks like I will not be going. It would have been great to meet some of the models I have not worked with.

Hi Guys,

I just saw this thread, which I'll forward to the people running the ticket service for their response... watch this space.

Hi -

We're running the party ticketing by SMS application.

Here's the rundown. Because it's an adult party, we have to use what's called an adult shortcode (79910 in this case) to bill for it. The operators all have some sort of age verification checks in place in order to prevent people under 18 paying for adult services via their mobiles.

If you try and register, and your operator doesn't think you're of age, then you'll get an SMS with details as to what you need to do to get the bar lifted. It should be a simple and painless process. We will not bill you unless you register again, once you're age-verified.

We did wonder about whether to offer this on a non-adult shortcode - one which everyone can use. We decided against it, for a couple of reasons:-
a) it'd be outside the scope of that which the operators permit;
b) we don't want anyone under 18 buying a ticket and then causing a rumpus when they're not let in.

Any questions/problems, please feel free to give me a bell or drop me an e-mail.

Cheers --

Dave

There are 3 rooms at the venue. Two large, one small. There will be DJs playing in one of the large rooms - the other will have quieter music and the stage for performances.

Ok NotThe o2 Solution

Post by Cenobitez »

OK

Now it says 'Service Blocked', I called o2 and asked them, they now tell me they need a Passport or Drivers License Presented at an o2 store, where details of the ID will be recorded, including the passport number and or drivers license number, and you will be help accountable should any legal issues related to your sim and minor's using it.

What made me laugh is, they didnt want any bloody ID when they was taking my money for a top end contract bought on the net did they.

I had a p990i, with thousands of minutes and they only wanted my money, now I wanna pay for something they seem to see porn/adult service as a bigger crime than credit facilities for a minor.

Well sod that. And to think I was going to do this. My phone and number have been my ID for over 15+ years. There is no way I will try this now for a party where 25% of the girls I have either photographed or already have spoken to.

However, I do appreciate where BGAFD is coming from and what a pain in the arse it has to be to set up so still recommend all you folks that know your mobile and have it set up.

For me sadly it will be a miss as it will for Mr. Mark. Hey - we are only small time porn producers so shouldn't make a blind bit of difference to all the fans who will only go to see the girls.

It will, without doubt, be a wicked and brilliant time,

Enjoy,

I would imagine, steve56, because you don't have to be 18 to own a cheque book or buy postal orders.

Hey Teoni,

news@strictlynews.com, as a performer you should be able to get on the guestlist.
