I just messaged to get a ticket. Now I got back some parental bullshit from o2. Tells me I have to phone Carphone warehouse tomorrow to get it unblocked. Does this mean I have to retext the number and hence spend another 20 quid. Any advise is appreciated,

I got that same error, only mine said 'Service Blocked', and I was using an o2 pay as you go, my contract already costs me 100s a month, so adding another 20 wasnt high.

I figured I'd wait til end of this month, and pay for it using my contract and go easy on my phone this month.

O2 Pay As You Go, got a text dated early hours this morning, that says...


You currently have O2 Adult Barring turned on for access to 18+ Services. If you wish to turn this off, Please call 61818 or the Care Number on your bill.

I called the number and it says Parental Control is Inactive.

Mr Admin type geezer, you may wanna add a note of the o2 problem to your bulletin, i'll call o2 now an see if I can find a resolution.

I called O2, and its a Premium Barr. This is put on to top conmen from sending faked originator texts to premium services and mounting your bill up.

The warning from o2 on my contract and pay as you was, "you are liable" for anything you mount up.

When i asked how popular these unsolicited reverse billing things are, all he said was, how often do you get unsoliced texts offering contracts, loads and everything else ? Its about that often.

I have had 3 of them this week.

I'm just going to pay for this, then call em back to get it switched back on.

Oh and it takes upto 24 hours to remove it, and re-add it, and also there is NO protection if your phone messes up and decides to send 5 texts, to any of these services, your liable for it all.

Bit of a shitter this is aint it ??

These events are well worthing going to, as you can find which girls you click with, and shooting girls you click with is 100 times better than randoms.

Its easier to put your idea's forward and discuss face to face as well.

Can't BGAFD use a payment gateway to take this money, or even PayPal? They only have to specifiy it's for a 'party invite' - nothing pornographic...

I'm not buggering around with my phone, for an event i'd otherwise have attended gladly
