(just a hypothetical question)
On average how much does an average scene cost?
Obviously this depends on the number of models appearing in front of the camera 1 to 3 or 4 on average), size of camera crew (1 to 3 on average), and the location.
At the moment takng into account location (studio hire for 4 hours), ?300 to ?450 per model, an average 2 person scene with just me as the camera/lighting crew, and afew extra costs (cloths, props) each scene is costing me about ?2000. With a total of 5 scenes required to create a finished production ?8,000 to ?10,000 is the figure I'm arrving at.
Once my production is finsihed 100% the burning question is, will I re-coop my ?8000 to ?10,000 and better still make a profit thus allowing me to move ahead and make ever better productions.
Returning to the Subject. Am I spending too much, or are others out there spending more than me?

Dont forget though, that once youve shot it, you then have your duplication costs, boxcover costs, boxcover art design costs, bbfc certification fee, and then you gotta advertise it too..

As and when that time arrives, my plans were to possibly let a company in the know to handle that side of things. Call me a dreamer, but I have thought about visiting the adult film festival in Cannes to hopefully meet some of the players.

Here is the way to do it if you want to come out making a small profit, book a model ?300.00 with model release + extra for anal + expences, shoot from either yours or the models home or a travelodge/Inn ?50.00 use yourself as the stud and camerman for this you will need a tripod and two camcorders and probably a viagra + a bottle or three of red wine thats just for the model dont drink any yourself otherwise you wont be able to perform ,fix one camcorder onto a tripod and and keep the other close at hand to film the closeups, you will also need a stills camera to take some solo photos of the model before the b/g action as she will always look her best before you have mauled her around, after you have shot a few stills film the girl in solo action for a few minutes and then join her on the bed not forgetting to switch on the camera that is on the tripod otherwise you wont have a film, then just go with the flow and enjoy but dont get to carried away and remember the second camcorder which should be nearby for the closeups, now some models will be clockwatchers and will try and make you cum as quickly as they can but you must resist, do it in several positions but mainly with the girl on top because after all you are paying her so let her do the work and its easier to shoot the close ups and make sure you get the cumshot {payshot} as you only get one chance, once that is done the girl will normally take a shower so continue filming her as she does so as you can never have to much film, now all you have to do is sell your very amatuer product send the stills to one of the topshelf mags wives section and if you are lucky after about six month to a year you may recieve a cheque for ?80-?100, edit your film down to a soft one using the solo girl and parts of the b/g and also the shower scene and offer it to the Red Hot Channel amatuer wives section and again if you are lucky you may recieve another ?100.00, as for the hard stuff open an account with Adultwork and Watchme.com and anywhere else where you can sell it and if you are lucky you could break even or maybe even make a few bob but the main thing is to enjoy it !love!!love!!love!

No I wont call you a dreamer cause visiting the 'hot d'or' festival is easy enough to do... Just jump on a plane and 'viola'...
Ive done it myself on two occasions... As for meeting the players though...
It can be a very closed community I'm afraid... Not totally closed, but more so than it should be...
Just personal opinion of course, but I 'type from the other side' of the fence so to speak... What i mean is due to the circumstances at the time, I did have the 'in' so to speak, but I was surprised at how closed off things seemed even from the inside...
That said though, it may be different now... Who knows. However, if your going to do this seriously, then I say spend a little more, and do things the way you planned to do them... After all, there's a million of the solo guys in a hotel room types out there... Do something a bit more classy and you can stand out from the crowd...
(THE ABOVE IS MY PERSONAL OPINION ONLY... NO OFFENCE TO ANYONE ELSE WHOS POSTED)

You forgot a stop in with Jerry at Strictly B
It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?
