18-19 Year Olds Wanted For Documentary!

Double standards again from the porno camp.

Like no one who makes porn 'uses' 18 - 19 year olds!!!!

It has been claimed that producers of such a documentary might manipulate younger models into positions and situations that wouldn't normally happen in porn.. erm.. like on their back with their legs apart, getting shagged!? Yes, that's probably true.

Porn, will use as many 18-19 year olds as possible, to make material for the punters.. let's not forget that!

I'm a big fan of porn (live would be boring without it), but I don't think those in the industry can really take the moral highground in this case.

If those that make porn didn't use 18-19 year olds, there would be no documentary to make.

I will say though, that if they do use anyone for the documentary, then they need to pay them a bit more than just expenses.

You're missing one crucial point here.

A porn producer who hires an 18-19-year-old for a shoot will theoretically be paying them a decent wage and their expenses. Any decent porn producer would not treat that performer any differently to how they treat 'veterans' (except the genuinely decent producers will take the time to give them some helpful tips and contacts).

Porn producers do not hire 18-19-year-olds specifically because they're naive and gullible and will work for sod-all - or rather, there are some porn producers who do this, and they should be weeded out, just like documentarists who do the same.

In short, when porn producers hire 18-19-year-old performers, it's firstly because they want young-looking people for their films and secondly having unpublished performers can be an extra selling point. When documentarists follow 18-19-year old perfomers, it's because they think they'll get clueless beginners who will make a series of upsetting mistakes and make fools of themselves on camera for no pay.

I don't think it's a matter of taking the moral high ground, it's more a matter of objecting to people who are once again out to make the porn industry look bad.

Mass forum paranoia. Why not give the guy some friendly, helpful advice instead of ripping into him? Seems like any 'outsiders' are just told where to get off to keep the UK elite intact.

Bad press in the past with Channel 4 docs? What , one sleazy producer who the nation now rightly so thinks is a complete twat? I seem to remember Ionee Luvcoxxx coming over quite well in the same show and it's where I became aware of her work.

I get everyones point but would like to see facts of this media backlash thats all. I only seem to be able to recall one show that could be seen as 'harmful' to the UK porn industry. Hundreds more have been highly positive.

Any links that can be forwarded to make me constantly suspicious of any non porn related TV shows would be greatly appreiated.
