Hello there,

I?m posting this from a television production company called Gecko Productions. We?re working on a documentary about young men and women starting out in the porn industry and would love to talk to anyone who is interested in taking part.

We are looking for ambitious individuals who can give us a positive look at the porn industry and give us some insight into their own personal experience. As many of you probably know documentaries of the past have tended to make the main focus of their programme about the dark side of porn. We aim to show a lighter side, the side that involves adults who love what they do!

We?d also like to talk to any producers or directors who have been in the industry for a while and can provide tips on becoming a success in the industry.

Why the constant backlash against the non porn media? Like noone could possibly wan't to do a positive piece regarding smut. What is your problem?

Because in this case, they are asking for 18-19 year olds who can easily be manipulated and placed into certain situations that would not neccessarily happen in the biz. If you were asking someone older who maybe a little more streetwise, you may not get the same reactions to the same situations, therefore making less controversial television.

Also, its probably for the tits and arse channel, Channel 4. Who also air big brother....enough said

I can see what you mean but I really don't think the companies who post on here pitching their documentaries are really that demonic and I doubt they are going to tear down the entire adult industry in one hour long special on Channel 4.

I imagine if there is any bad press regards UK porn it comes when these TV folks leave this place and tell everyone what a shadowy untrusting clique it all is.

This guy was greeted with hostility before anyone even took the time to ask him more about the project which I thought a bit harsh.

I spoke to them on the phone regarding the doc and they haven't got anyone come forward anyway. there aren't any 18 year old guys who have the bottle to do it anyway. Well, that and have control of their willies

They will make this documentary anyway regardless if anyone from this forum responds or not, therefore someone in the biz who dosnt mind the publicity should contact them and say they would do it for ?100,000 and then see what they offer !cool!
