.com or .net domains etc

You can have any domain you want really, somewhere deep in the internet, I still think there is a belief that .net is for geeky and tech stuff, .org for the oganisations and .com for commercial sites, but its almost certainly burried.

By choice .co.uk AND .com, .net if the others are gone.

People in america are prone to type .com, so if your brutaltruth they will automatically type in brutaltruth.com, this is also common the world over, the UK also automatically tries .co.uk, after those have been unsucessful people will search engine your name.

off the top of my head, I can't think of many sites that use .net on here, ummmmm
