Oooh, get me. A VIP? Oooh. !laugh!

I'd agree with everyone who says that Phil did a great job in the time he had, and I hope One Eyed Jack can hassle the necessary parties into sorting out the list of winners as soon as possible. Not just for the media, but also for the performers and producers themselves.

I can do without your sarcasm u suck 19. Whoever you are Mr (or Ms) No Profile I could accuse you for being a troll....with an axe to grind...But then maybe you are some disgruntled tightly wound individual trying to pick a fight. Maybe you would like to blow some steam off by punching a few walls in. You might feel better

I spoke with the organisers today and they apologised for the delay and said the list of winners will be up tomorrow.

I'm sure if it went without a hitch and everyone got something out of it there'd still be something to complain about . Thats just the nature of humans.

I'm confused as to why so much negativity about this.

Phil and Redzone grabbed the bull by the horns and organised the event to a high standard in a short space of time, granted the list of nominees and winners should have been posted by now but that seems to be scant reason for such hefty criticism.

The fact that the website hasn't been updated seems somewhat irrelevent and hardly worth a mention. If someone is daft enough to apply for tickets this far after the event then quite frankly you deserve to be parted from your money

Perhaps a request for a list of award winners, rather than a demand, would have been more friendly. It seems that most postings are posted by people involved in the U.K. porn business, us mere mortals standing on the sidelines and looking in. I am entertained by the postings on here and enjoy the pictures when they get posted. So, keep up the work guys and girls.

I for 1 enjoyed the event, sure there was issues, but nothing that required this, and i look forward to next years event.

I say Shut It and wait and see what happens next year, but til then for a first hit its good, not a home run, but its good.

How about we make constructive comments ? I made my comments, in a way i hoped would be constructive to make the event better. Im also willing to stand up and offer any help i can give to help make my constructive comments be put to use, to make sure its better next year :)

It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?

My constructive criticisms:

First off, I didn't attend the event, but from what I heard a smashing good time was had by all, and Phil Black and co. should be rightly praised for organising the thing at such short notice and actually following through on the idea rather than just having plans and talking about it a lot.

But...(yes, you knew there was going to be a but)...1) the failure to deliver a complete list of winners, even as a simple text file, is pretty much inexcusable. In most countries, said info would be available the morning after, not a couple of weeks later. None of the news outlets on the web are going to give the awards ceremony much coverage if they haven't got a list of winners. The PR for the awards should have had a complete list of winners ready to go out with a press release about the awards the morning after, it's as simple as that...someone has definitely dropped the ball here, and it becomes a bigger embarrassment with each passing day the situaton is left unresolved.

2) From reading one of Lara Lee's posts, I got the impression that you couldn't be nominated for or win an award if you weren't going to be in attendance. This is just plain stupid, and cheapens the awards immeasurably...'Wow...I'm Male Performer Of The Year! Thank God (insert name here) couldn't make it!'.

Let's say the industry discovers the new Jenna Jameson-like crossover star in the next twelve months, and she's British. She goes over to America, knocks them dead, does record sales numbers etc., gets multiple AVN nominations, but when the UK Awards roll around can't make it over due to work commitments...are we going to snub her in favour of someone maybe not even half as good but who lives fairly local to London? I'm sorry, but it kind of smacks of strong-arming attendees, and I hope it was only a one-off, because I don't think you'll have trouble getting attendees next year purely on the positive word of mouth from this year's show alone.

These two things need to rectified ASAP in my opinion...but other than that, my impressions of the show gleaned from others' reports have been very positive.
