Wrong as usual..

Where do I say I have a copy of the magazine. That pic of the story was given to me by someone else, and as Rico only posted a small % of the case etc. I posted that, so everyone could see what he was writing about..

I have given them credit for the article, so I don't think there will be a prob unless you start one :)

Joe I know you are cheap...but this is a new record for you...lol...it's free to get hold of ETO. All these years in the biz and you don't get a copy? Next minute you'll be telling me you don't have a set of 'redheads'...lol.

VoD has always been subject to the Obscene Publications Act (OPA). This covers material regardless of how it is delivered. The guy in the ETO article was prosecuted under the OPA.

What this judgement shows is that even if you affiliate to a non-UK site that provides material judged to be obscene, you can be prosecuted. This guy went down because the police followed a link on his site and purchased movies containing scat and fisting content, which the police judged to be illegal.

So this affects not just webmasters hosting their own content, but affiliates linking to other people's content. If you're in the UK, you need to check what you are promoting online. Non-UK companies are not bound by the OPA, but if you send them traffic and are based in the UK, you are.

to true Jerry been working like mad on it and around it its worth being aware the content matters to win an OPA they would need to prove this was harder than 18R Like fisting/scat etc etc. Putting all this together right now give me buzz.

Look at the time I posted...

Unfortunately not many places are open at 1.30am where a copy of ETO can be bought... DUH. It's not openly available to buy as far as I know in may places. I don't think my local newsagent has much of a call for it.

You made a comment and were asked to back it up with a cut and paste etc. but you had to make a sarcy comment as expected. Adding "LOL" doesn't change that.

Thanks Jerry for making it all clear as to what the case was all about :) Now when and how am I going to give you Dvd 2 and get back Dvd 1 as I need to make copies :) It seems that I have a sudden demand thanks to you, which is appreciated for doing what you have, compared to others who've just talked the talk in the past :) One of my foreign contacts is now interested in releasing the hard copies having seen my page on SB :)

That's great news Joe. I'll be round for my reward (chopped liver).

Given what was said in the ETO article, I recommend you cut out the scat scenes. !shocked!

Jerry...

You were happy for the models to do that on you... Now you're chickening out. ... LOL.

Seriously that is one niche that I couldn't/wouldn't get within 100 miles of... I saw a vid years ago when I was in Holland for a weekend, which a pal had and it made me sick...

In hindsight, mentioning scat and chopped liver in the same email was a bad idea. !sick!

Two days wasted on what I already new, Shitting DVD's are illegal and if you sell one you will get locked up. Anything new here.

Well BBFC do not class streaming as Video so they are out, the OPA use the 18R as a sensible guide so as long as its close it fine, OFCOM are out as its internet. The Trader in question can't even remeber if there was a dury. I can see a retraction on the way. What I can see this doing is bringing the topic up so as to force the issue,
