Thinking of setting up Jim Slip style

Post by Tej_Mullen »

Hi, I'm thinking of leaving a well paid computer programming at the bank and doing what Jim Slip does for a living. Luckilly my wife is very supportive, and is also considering the Lara Latex role.

I worked out if I got 1,000 people to join my website for say ?20 per month, that's like ?20k.

Sounds a pretty decent score to me.

Good luck!

Yep great score, the problem in getting the 1000 members a month, and of course having enough content to fill and keep updating the site, whilst still being able to keep financing the project untill you have your 1000 members.
But good luck if you go ahead.

LMAO !clown!

Most sites are between ?10-15, not 20, so lets go in the middle and your 1000 members is 12.5k, but you've forgotten that ccbill/paycom or whoever handles the payments take a cut and also 50 percent goes to affiliates, so now your 1000 members is only actually bringing in a little over 5k, then take out your costs for hosting and promotion, equipment costs, maybe studio or location costs, and not to mention the little matter that your models will need paying and all of a sudden those 1000 members don't generate much money at all, and you'd be working harder than you do at the bank to get it. Of course that's all assuming you'd have 1000 members, and even if you did it'd take time to get to that level, and how much investment would be required to acquire enough initial content? ?k's

How does the score look now !doh!

And who are you? website please?

I was thinking after previous post from Mr Doom & Gloom that maybe I could still do the computer programming work and just do this at the weekends and during annual leave. I hadn't realised that I probably need at least 10 different episodes in order to get people to sign up..., so if I take 2 weeks off in July, I reckon I could do 10, upload and then do one every other weekend, that's two updates a month. So, ?5k as supplemental income looks pretty good to me.

Only one problem, how do I get the girls? That Polish Nancy (Evie) looks good and Marie-Louise 36FF would need to make an appearance too..., plus my all time favourite MILF sort Sarah Beattie AND lots of tasty unknowns too.

Good luck!

You make it all look so easily - but I can assure you it's not as easy as you seem to think. Also 2 updates a month is no good, look at the amount of content Jim Slip has!!

But good luck if you do go for it!
