Re: hunnys models deleted
A sensible decision.
Model agents are a bit of an anchronism when so many girls can be contacted direct.
And quite how Walpole have managed to generate enough biz to get vat registered is anyone's guess.
As well as your re-think,Michael Ross has also thrown in the towel recently of course.
(Now there's a man with some interesting stories attached.)
Btw,check out Marcus Allen's "Blue Remembered Hills" article in the "miscellany" section of this site for an added perspective.

Hunny,
I post 100s of posts on forums daily, send 100s of emails per week, i do mail outs, i advertise on google, overture and various others.
I even do events like Max Power, Autosport, etc to drum up business, and still i get all the above problems, of the maybe 1,000s of posts and emails, i still get all the same problems.
Thats just models for ya, wait til ya try doing 10 girls at an event like Max Power, I want to slash my wrists, its a f'ing nightmare.

It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?

Hunny....
Have run a model agency for five years (glamour/softcore/commercial) and it's hard....
Give up if you want... thats your decision...
If you do continue start again from scratch.... toughen up... you will meet arseholes along the way... thats par for the course...
Start with a small group of good reliable models and concentrate on managing them and finding them good honest paid work... dont advertise for models on forums as that is a waste of time.... let the models who work for you and trust you do your recruiting by working with models and recommending you...
Interview all new models face to face.... send them to meet clients before they get paid work to ensure reliability.... be clear from the start what you expect... set out terms and conditions for them to follow whilst working for you (reliability...conduct).... forbid them to work direct for your clients who you have introduced them to for a period of time after.... give models the push who are at all flakey or go against your work ethics...
Look after clients interests as much as your models as they are your real long term money earners.... be straight...honest... if a model cancels tell them... call new clients and introduce yourself (calls are more memorable than mass emails) take a trip to London and arrange to meet clients face to face as they will always welcome new well run agencies..... contact them weekly to ensure they remember you and to ask what work they have at present....
Good luck

There's a million sites out there, all doing the same, usually for free, and all feature the same faces over and over and over and over.......................
What are you going to do differently to attract *new* models and seperate yourself from the usual 'bloke with a bit of webspace' listing sites that almost never work?
