Wholly inappropriate, but hardly unexpected from a magazine culture that seeks to sexualize increasingly younger girls. The original posters enquiry should IMHO be forwarded to senior executives at publishers EMAP and the Press Complaints Commission or whatever similar body deals with periodicals. Either it's a hoax, in which case the publishers are not going to like of their magazine being associated with such an enquiry, or it's genuine, in which case all involved deserve reprimanding severely for their abhorrent ideas.

This sort of cynical exploitative 'journalism' is a far more mendacious threat to the safety and wellbeing of teenagers than 'porn folk' ever will be!

British Producers/Porn stars like to keep an healthy distance between their children & porn. The drug / vice squad don't go on shows or mags with their children & the same rules apply with us.
The editor of this mag is one very sick person to even think of doing such a feature, things must be very bad for you guys to have to sink to these levels.

14-19 yrs... 14 - 17 is a too young to link children with porn.

It is very likely, however that children this young are exposed to porn, by the people who peddle their wares on the internet i.e. you guys.

Obviously, this exposure is not intended, and precautions are taken, such as 18 warnings etc., along with parental controls by ISP / Web Browsers.

Naturally the intention is to aim such material only at us open-minded free thinking adults, and bless you for that.

Not forgetting that the age range mentioned above include 18 + 19 year olds, of which the adult industry is more than happy to lure into porn, especially if it means producing 'teeny' material, albeit it with a discalimer that all models used are over the age of 18 etc. So people of this age range (18-19) are often linked to the adult industry, by virtue of the fact that they are working in it.

Whilst Uk producers probably like to keep a healthy distance between their own children and porn. They have no qualms about using other peoples children (18+) in their productions. Even if the parents of these children would like an equally healthy distance kept between their own offspring and porn.

Yes, I know 18 years olds and over are adults etc..

Glass houses and stones...

P.S I love UK porn.. so keep up the good work!

Wow, I never wanted to piss anyone off. All the comments are totally valid and I can assure you we're not out to exploit anyone. Of course we'd never err on the side of anything pornographic, or exploitative. Teen mags have to be so careful about anything that crosses that line and as a journalist I'd never entertain the idea of putting my readers in that position.
I can assure you it's not a mucky feature, it's about how teenagers cope when their parents have 'embarassing' jobs - not just those in the sex industry either. It's great how many moral people there are out there armed with stones and happy to throw them from their glass houses!

Of course we'd never err on the side of anything pornographic, or exploitative (unless it was going to be our biggest seller). Teen mags have to be so careful about anything that crosses that line (we got caught one and were fined ????'s) and as a journalist I'd never entertain the idea of putting my readers in that position (unless it got me the pulitzer prize). It's great how many moral people there are out there armed with stones and happy to throw them from their glass houses! (I lost the debate and can now only resort to flaming).
