Nah not a chance.

What makes me laugh is, people whine on about tattoo not selling and all that shit, yet SuicideGirls and such sites MAKE A KILLIN in that very market.

It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?

"I think to say NO CHAPARONE is dodgey, Its one thing to say "No Chaparones in the shooting area, but welcome to wait in another room or nearby, but out and out no no, doesnt reflect well."

i can recal a post from a model that claimed she'd been messed with and the general advise from some of the girls and webbies was to get a chaperone. cant find the bleedin thread now but its on these forums somewhere

Dont tell me how good you are, show me.

Its a specialist market in which they seem to have become top dog, and in the process created a cult status for the people who appear on there. However, look at their terms of business and the amount they pay and you'll realise you're working for kudos, not profit.

Maybe there are some amputee sites some girls would consider further mutilating themselves for. ;-)
We have need of you again, great king.

Indeed it is a Kudos site, and their model release is a nightmare thats GOT to be illegal in the UK!.

They are far from topdog, once yeah, but since Sean (owner) and Missy's lil hissy fits, they are far from Top Dog.

They only maintain what they have Now by suing everyone out of business for 'stealing their format'.

Jenna Jamesson she has tattoo's
Angelina Jolie has so many tattoo's she is told to cover em up.
David Beckham has tattoo's.

3 different walks of life, and tattoo's haven't affected their marketability.

Yeah theres some guy who hate em, but i;d guess the split is something like

15% Fuck No
70% dont care
15% Hell Yeah

and I'd rather be catering to the masses and have Tattooed, and Non Tattooed.

I can just imagine something like that written on my gravestone !hmmm! .

Joe, I've just been reading an email from a model who tells me you spoke highly of me, so I just wanted to say thanks, it's appreciated !thumbsup! . (She looks good from what I can see and I'll get around to working with her in the next couple of weeks)

Probably not, because I think most of them have been tattooed before even thinking about becoming models.

"Probably not, because I think most of them have been tattooed before even thinking about becoming models. "

That's most likely correct. But it then begs the question - what made them think that they could become models even though they had tattoos (or no tits 'n' ass for that matter)?

I would disagree with those percentages, it's much more likely to be

70% Fuck No
15% Don't care
15% Hell Yeah

I've never had any feedback requesting to see more models with tattoos but have had plenty telling me they aren't impressed by models with tattoos. Okay we're only talking small numbers, but it's evident from the fact you rarely see photographers advertising and stipulating they want models with tattoos yet you often see photographers stating they don't like tattoos (I would assume that experience has given them a rough idea of what their customers want).

I agree about catering to the masses, but it can also work against you sometimes. Let's say you have 100 customers who mostly all prefer non-tattooed models but you think by having tattoed models will bring in extra customers so you shoot models with tattoos. Now you might gain 25 new customers who like tattoos but you might also lose 50 of your existing customers because they really dislike tattoos.

Probably because they've logged onto one of the model listing sites and seen that the majority of models advertised fall into the very same category, and think "if she can do it, then I can".
