I personally found the act of just chatting to everybody a real inspiration, without all the rules and regs. Even if we met socially it would be a real inspiration. I found all the new generation of porn folk much less paranoid and smug than the old school and I think for the first time in many years it would actually be possible to form alliances without the fear of having one's throat cut, metaphorically speaking.

Shame about that because I rekon the BGAFD Adult Producers forum would have been good and even if there is no long term future for it its not like your setting up a new gig.

Mind you at least you know the idea had legs!

I think that suggestion must have been made when I was away in Portugal or Prague...Shame, as it was a good idea that couldve been started ealrier but maybe now was the right time after we all met like Jim said.

We're not all banded together to form conspiracies. We are still all doing our own individual thing...Together we should have a better imapct when we want to be heard as an industry.

Tried to join but they wont let me in, password don't work etc.
why don't any producers who are interested in IPTV just drop down here, seems like the difference is I went to Vancouver to see it and meet Microsoft etc. I have spent insane money on making the whole concept work, I even booked the Albion pub, put on some snack's and drinks. I would have had a stand but Erotica would not give me one...I have stands at Vegas then 2 big Tech shows Feb-March. If you want something you need to work for it. DVD is dead, in Barcelona they were selling them at 6 for 5Euro to the public and they same will happen here and it will be quick.
Already the biggest guys in the industry are buying into our network but despite me trying the UK guys just can't make the effort. We have a full on demo here with working set-top boxes, I have had people from USA/Germany this week alone but appart from Marino no one has made the effort.

Phil I don't think its a question of "making an effort", more a question of laying out ?10,000, which is quite alot of money to me!
I'm sure we'll carry on discussing it at our next meeting.
