Who wants a website?

Post by nialdho »

I am a Graphic/Web designer and photographer.

I can do a simple, professional looking promotional website for around ?300 including 2 years domain registration and hosting.

I have never done any models websites yet but would do one at cost just for the experience.

If any models out there are in need of a 'web presence, get in touch!

As I said, nothing 'racey' but you'll get the gist.

How many times do we see the most popular clicked link "skip intro". Until 80% of the browsing world has Broadband, Flash on websites should be limited on websites, if not banned altogether.

Flash is great for Multimedia but not to author for websites, have a look at for their take on this.

A lot more graduates need to read those essays on HCI but here is a decent link

Your client(s) want to get in, get the goods, get out; just ask them.

I try to work on 3 clicks and your done to find a product, 5 clicks for a sale.

1, catagory
2, sub catagory
3, selected item
4, purchase selected items,
5, enter payment details.

4 clicks is better if you dont need sub-cats but bigger sites need them :)

With model directory sites. should be 3 clicks are well

1, area
2, model
3, contact

or

1, search
2, model
3, contact

with any site the rules should apply, certain things are taken for granted, menus, navigation, symbols, etc ;)

Totally Aggree on the Flash and GiGiGo - jee-jee-go get in, get it, get out, kinda like GIGO or WYSIWYG :)
