for the last to weeks ive had emails, text's and phone call's from a new producer, wanting to shoot material for his site,
the same time when girls get exposed when they dont show what about some of the men

i checked the mans site, had his contact info everything, we even spoke this week as the shoot was supposed to take place today,

i tried to contact him several times this morning to let him know i was coming etc

the bloody phone was turned off and then when he did switch it on no answer, nothing at all to say the shoot was cancelld now lucky for me it was local ,

not even a god damn text now i to have lost out as i had turned down a shoot for some one else due to the fact i'd promied to do this one,

well his loss for saying that his site was based on a certain look,

but thanx to Andy King productions i'm now out of pocket,
cheer's mate, and il be glad when he post's a reply on this site, as he truly doesnt want to anwser his phone

i had the same thing happen to me on friday !!!!
guy was meant to come to my place for a shoot for his website called vintage flash and he never showed up !!! and had his phone turned off ! no email nor phonecall nothing ! arsehole !!!

so what are us girls meant to do, do we charge people we havent worked with before , a booking fee?

That's not a bad idea in theory, but on the other side how would the producers know the girls would turn up after money has been spent on a booking fee. It's a bit of a chicken and egg situation. Let downs, no shows and bad bookings make the job difficult for every genuine person in the industry

The theory of that is sound but, arguably, the costs and loss to a producer caused by a girls no show is going to be more so how can they be protected? I still think the only way is to have adopt a name and shame policy of both performers and producers - at the moment unless a girl or producer is really bad they can continue to fuck people around as there is no real way of checking their reliability but with a name and shame / forum or something like that once someone has done it a few times their reputation will be in the toilet and, hopefully, no one else will suffer.

Now as for the legalities and practicalities of such a system - I will leave that to someone else..................

Jay I have to agree,

If we make a booking we do the shoot or if something went wrong that was out of our control ( as can happen) we would at the very least pay out of pocket expenses. Im sure anybody in this biz that is genuine would have no problem with a name and shame policy, as if you are genuine you have nothing to fear. That, I think, applies to girls, guys, producers, webmasters and anyone else in this industry
