Hi Photo-Taker,
Most of my shoots are 3 hours with the model, and we try to get through about 5-6 different sets. TGITC comments on how many photos is about right, though I normally manage around 200 pics per set, and then discard the crap and blurred one.
As for flash heads, I use Bowens Esprit 500 heads, and these again are perfect, as the recharge time is pretty much instant, so it is not often that I fire of a shot and the heads are not recharged.
The only thing that is a pain in the arse on these are using a synch cable. I know of another photog that has an infrared trigger that sits on the hotshoe and triggers the bowens via ir. I have used his one on my camera and it works fine, but I can't find the buggers anywhere to buy. Does anyone else use these and know where to get them from? (Calumet sell a similar things from Bowens but it is ?200 and the one James used was about ?40 from speedgraphic but they now claim they dont sell them).
Cheers
Paul

Re: Digital SLR Cameras
Hi Paul..
I use a radio controlled trigger its great and 100% reliable.
I found the infra red good but sometimes overhead light interfered with the signal, the radio trigger works even when in a different room.
There are quite a few on ebay
Hope this is of assistance. Keep up the good work.
Cheers Cornish Chris.
