On Friday Demon-Eyes Productions took it's first steps into the film producing market. We booked Kimberly Potter who turned in a professional and competent performance. Tuesday brought Avalon a superb and spirited performer, professional through-out. Wednesday (today) we had a booking, confirmed with The Walpole Group as all our models have been who cried off 5 minutes before she was due to be collected at the station. This left us with a soundman, 2 cameramen, Lorna, Leon and Mark (the other talent) and a director busily trying to rework the whole days shoot!

The ridiculous excuse Walpole were given by this 'actress' was that just prior to her leaving for the job (8am) her health clinic phoned to inform her that there was a problem with clamidea on her std certificate.

I only hope that idiots like this are RARE. I also hope that rather than accept bookings from production companies she spend the rest of her days getting her ROCKS off somewhere else.

Thats not bad... I had two shoots go pop on me today, and i didnt get a call from either to say they werent coming...Now thats I call a waste of day. Not the first or the last.

But one question...why not just say if ya dont want to do the shoot, or had a better offer...I would rather know than sit like an arse waiting for nothing..I could have done some thing else, or phoned around to get another girl to come along.

PLease Girls....just be upfront and tell us so we can at least go down the pub and get pissed, instead of sitting around waiting for ya.

It's the money that's wasted that annoys me. The crew still has to be paid which eats into budgets and ultimately means that producers deliver an inferior product. We are attempting to deliver a great film on a budget thats miles from Hollywood closer in fact to Car boot challange.

Courtesy of todays inconsiderate model we will now have to schedule another days shoot to get 1 scene. I'm ranting now arn't I.

I also have a a different but allied biz and the problems are exactly the same.

"Common Courtesy" is an alien feature to the average female mind.
When they need work - they pester you.

When they are high; on the piss; with their boyfriend/pimp/; hung-over or any other damn reason, then YOU/WE are alien beings to be totally ignored and treated as starngers intruding on their vastly important lives.

Wonder why there is no home-grown talent?!
