Cento x Cento -- gimmick?
Cento x Cento -- gimmick?
Do Alex and co. actually get phone calls from common women (and maybe men too) that want to fuck on film and go to their place and do it? Or is that a gimmick and it's always been pro and/or amateur performers appearing on Cento x Cento movies?

IMost likely NOT a gimmick.
For one thing on their web site, there is a section that deals with "casting" requests:

and a certaibn number decide to wear masks to conceal their identity..

and others have appeared in many of their DVD releases)

Ironically, I wish he'd let the missus [Roxana Ardi] off the leash so she
could work for other outfits instead of pissing her cute-and-dirty talents up
the wall on this pro-am gunge. Or perhaps he couldn't cope with her earning
more money than him : -)

What I find very curious, is that when well-known porn performers (Barbara Ganndalf, Shadow, etc)
work for CentoXCento, there seems to be little publicity made to that fact.
DVD box covers don't even show their names.
It's like they (CxC) (almost) don't want you to know they have done scenes for them. That seems
to be on the face of it a very poor marketing decision. I don't understand why
they do that. Are they (CXC) trying to make it appear everything is on the
"amateur" level? Keeping performer salaries low?
Just rather odd!

No idea; I have little notion of the economics of any sort of porn.
I imagine that at this end it's pretty hand-to-mouth. As you say, Lara de S.
is bankable [and so presumably comes at a premium]; for me the real CXC
money-spinner must be Roxana. If she hadn't existed I would never have watched
even one CXC flick for pleasure rather than out of duty - and I doubt I'm
alone in this opinion.
