A few days ago, I read that Jess Franco had passed away.

For some reason I can't truly understand, he seemed to have a lot of fans. My condolences to them.

It might be more accurate to say that Ms Romay has/had a lot of fans : -)

Most of his filmography is purely junk. A question of quantiy over quality, and at least he often admitted it.
