i read this in vintage forum:

Gilda Arancio appeared in many early to mid 70s adult films, including softcore and some of the earliest French hardcore productions. She worked with many of the great directors of the era, including Jean Desvilles, Jean Rollin, Jean-Marie Pallardy, Jess Franco, Joe d'Amato, Jose Benazeraf, Max Pecas, and Torgny Wickman.

To be frank, in reading and re-reading your posts, I am totally puzzled as to whether Arancio performs any explcit sex act in this or any other movie during her career. Your posts are not clear on this crucial point, and I will leave it at that since I have no clue as to the content of this movie or to any other of her movies. In his post, Alec indicated the movie review in Dictionnaire indicated she performed hc, but what does that exactly mean? You appear to have indicated in your various posts you either have or have seen the movie at some time, but to this date you have been unable to describe what that involved.
When I go back to first post, I still don't know what you were stating or asking.

We never listed the gay title. I've just corrected the director and completed the female cast of the partly hetero (Job Blough) one which was first released in 1977. The gay title (Achenoul) was released in 1978 (and Gilda was indeed not in it - cast Jim Queen and Serge Retz). All this is going by the entries in the Dictionary and I stated these dates in my post. I haven't seen the film but I would have come across references to it in at least two places in order to have included it in the first place. I was unaware of the existence of the gay title and that there were two films of this title until I read this thread and then consulted the Dictionary.

I suggest you get hold of a copy of the Dictionary. I've found it invaluable though it's not absolutely 100% error free - but a lot more error free than egafd. BTW some of the contributors also wrote for La Saison to which you refer.

I've afraid that my French is not up to giving an account of the story lines from the reviews, but the first line of the review for the gay title says something like "May 1978, a young man arrives at Marseilles to sign a contract..." This review seems to be unsigned. The review for the hetero one is signed CB (Christophe Bier). The first paragraph of the review seems to be a quote from the film and begins "I am Mich?le, 23 years old..."

The review specifically refers to Gilda Arancio in a hard scene, but the cast credits given implies that this is a 'montage' which I take to mean that it has been inserted from elsewhere, maybe a film within a film?, but I may have misinterpreted this usage.

Gilda Arancio performs a not very hard (from memory) masturbation scene in Body Love followed by a soft lesbian scene with Catherine Ringer. It is not clear from the review what she does in the scene included in the film in question in this thread. Like Carlito, I've never seen her in b/g hardcore, though I have seen soft b/g scenes involving her in otherwise hardcore films, e.g. Les Extases de Charlotte.
