Take a look at Kathy Anderson's one.
Be honest; would you have recognised her from that
atypical, reduced-scale shot? Maybe at a second, harder
look, and if it was at the scale it is in the gallery,
but why not avoid the issue in the first place and use
the excellent second, instantly identifiable, gallery cap

I've reproduced the [some of them offending] items here
at the sizes they up/download in, so although the first two
thumbs look identical clicking on them wlll demonstrate the
difference in scale:

One should bear in mind that eyesight-defects are probably
more common in the denizens of these August Halls than in
the population at large, due [as in my case] to extreme

I'll take any cure going- which is probably why I walk in
such an odd way.
I'd already made my feelings in the matter patently clear,
but I was prompted to this latest fit of invective when, on
another errand, I encountered the particularly striking
example of Kathy.

If you check the latest image updates you'll find that none of the models have a full-length shot as their default image. Since you last raised this issue we have begun replacing, where possible, full-length shots with portraits (The Kathy Anderson image you refer to was put up August last year and has now been amended). Of course, this process is dependent upon what materials are available but it is happening. Albeit, not as fast as some members would like... !wink!

I was merely referring to the need to include the final "m" (pointing out the "submissive" character of "my master"), as used in common Turkish language, and not to the (grammatical) faculty of using one or two "f"s.....!wink!

nowadays- usually in letters to the 'Times'] "your obedient
servant", representing a deference that's falling into disuse in
our aggressively egalitarian society.

This is accurate, although the expression "efendim" is being used by modern Turks in a variety of circumstances, not always with such a connotation. Still a certain layer of deference-obedience is undeniable...
