To conserve bandwidth, I append these synopses by me of two recently inventoried movies in this topic.

"Forbidden Pleasures" {a|k|a "La D?cha?n?e"} [1986: France. Producer: Danielle Gauthier. Director: Michel Lemoine {as Michel Leblanc}. Run Time: 79']

Even in the 1980s, we sporadically find a movie about which not all the data is readily available. This movie is French, it is on film, and it is reviewed only in Volume II of the X-Rated Videotape Guide [by Robert Rimmer], which dates it 1987. The European Girls' Adult Film Database puts its release at 1986; but it had appearantly seen a published release date of 1982. In the movie, Cindy Lauper's record "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is frequently name-dropped. So I list it as 1986, but I would not be surprised if it was 1985 or 1984.

The movie orbits around a country estate owned by Amanda Shell. She has two nieces (Tina Loren & Valerie Sidy) who are visiting. Jean-Pierre Armand is the estate's gardener. We view a (typical?) weekend of activity at the estate, with some footage featuring Andr? Kay {this is the other unidentified male}, the lawyer for Amanda Shell. He has a scene in here which is on the edge of shocking | hilarious. I consider it hilarious. Other than this vignette, I cannot understand why it has not yet been re-released.

The plot's tension is when Dany Verneuil is introduced as somebody who wants to buy the estate and potentially convert it to some commercial purpose which could result in everybody's eviction. I believe you can deduce how he is coddled.

"Eternal Desire" [1999: Italy. Producer & Director: Joe D'Amato. Run Time: 106']

This is one of Joe D'Amato's last movies {it's a video}. For this one, he borrows elements and a plot line from the mainstream movie "Highlanders". The budget provides both real special effects and CGI. You shall also notice the sword-fighting scenes which serve as interstitials. The story line has the highlanders (male & female) being from another planet. They have a dwarf leader (who does not get naked). The highlanders engage in lust with earth creatures. The leader chastises them, reminding them that only one of them can become immortal; and if they should fall in love with any earthling, they will lose their chance for immortality.

Will we learn which highlander is the immortal one? And what of those who would forsake their chance for immortality to be a life partner with an earth creature? Along the way, we have some very hot (again, albeit, 'by the book') sex scenes. Raincoaters will be satisfied. Thank you, Joe.
