brilliant!

Yeah definitely the list I have been looking for a long time !

I think one of the possible missing movies during that period is one that features BARBARA BOURDON ,a US movie , I think it's now called "PRIVATE AFTERNOONS PAMELA MANN".

I don't remember what the french title was at that time but it was one I remember watching.

thank you,

Henry Paris was the porn alias of Radley Metzger. Metzger directed lots of soft core movies in the late 60s and early 70s and half moved into hard core, showing oral penetration, in The Image aka The Punishment of Anne, based on a French erotic novel. Then he used the alias for full hard core movies like The Opening of Misty Beethoven.

The Image is listed here as it's sort of semi-European and because Rebecca Brooke aka Mary Mendum also appeared in Les Milles et une perversions de Felicia, directed by Max Pecas.

All the exterior scenes in The Image were shot in the locations in Paris described in the book. And anyway, it's a brilliant film which I couldn't bear to leave out. :)

Just a precision:

01-88:Outrages (Michel ricaud) is , of course, "Les 7 derniers outrages" .

Some others titles may be a bit different than their commercial releases (theatre or vhs) because some titles names could rather "hard" for the 1st french channel to show porn movies on TV (I insist, Canal + is a pioneer here in France). But in the 6 months following the august '85 "revolution" the number of people getting Canal plus raised exponentially .

At the begining of 90's "Le journal du hard" was created, a brief 10 minutes magazines before the monthly movie, showed interviews (actress, actors, directors, producers), scene of the month, backstage reports, news of the industry.
2 specials extra too in this period (which i could name the golden age):
"Derriere Lahaie" a world sex tour, a large pornorama of most of the porn since its beginning (except for scato, animals ...), even gay porn has a report, presented by Brigitte Lahaie (and she collaborated for the choice of the reports);
"Ciccolinissima" (correct me if i'm wrong), another one-off special show, i remember the end in a club for a cicciolina show, but never watched it entirely.
The FHM Magazine (french edition) november 2004 (eve angeli on cover) has a 4 pages treating for that subject, with M Dorcel interview a.o. .

For non-french which may be surprised for the interest in a channel showing only 1 porn movie monthly .... ;)

Amazing symmetry

I just mentioned "Private Afternoons Of Pamela Mann" in the 'Why is American porn...' topic.
"Barbara Bourbon" and "PAoPM" are not the same movie. They were both directed by Radley Metzger {a|k|a "Henry Paris"}, but they are not the same movie.

'Cool' versions

In the early 1980s here in the U.S.A.; subscription television, which was neither cable nor satellite, but a terrestrial television channel transmitting an encrypted signal from its antenna into a decoder box of its subscribers, had its day.
These subscription channels quickly began showing edited versions of U.S.A.-made erotic movies. The balance between soft-X movies {Think "Emmanuelle" and her sistern.} and explicit movies edited down to soft-X {Think no penetration shots, but with erect cocks and open pussies} quickly tilted to the edited down explicit movies.

If you taped "PAoPM" from Canal+ in 1985, you have the uncut, uncensored version which is currently unavailable from an "authorized" purveyor today.
