New to the forum

Greetings, all.

I'm new to the forum, just want to say hello and congratulatons to site creators and forum members alike - a site like this have long been absent on the internet. Being an adolescent in the late 70's/early 80's, I came to appreciate the erotica of the period, not least for it's (sometimes) high ambitions, production values and raunchy good-naturedness (not necessarily in that order). As time goes by, one realises that it was a unique period. With time, too, one's curiousity grows as to exactly who was involved and where to get hold of research material. I've already found some invaluable information through this site and I'll soon post a couple of new questions that I hope some of you might shed some light on.

I'm based in Scandinavia, and I have quite a thorough knowledge of different aspects of my home region as far as titles, talent and (at least some) ways of getting hold of copies. I hope I can be of help.

I only discovered this site at the end of last year. It is invaluable. Like you I think the period between 1975 and 1983 was the golden age of film pornography. After that, a number of circumstances conspired to make the product less good. That is not to say that no good stuff has not been made in the meantime. I am sure you will find this forum really useful. It has a lot of highly knowledgable contributors, backed up by an efficient and friendly administration.

Hi Mulholland, you sound to be of a similar age to myself.No doubt you remember the golden age of "Color Climax" [late 70's/early 80's].Unfortunately this site doesn't appear to have much information about them films,at least not the titles I remember,also a particular young actress by the name of "Tove" appears to get no mention either.I thought that you might know a bit about her,as she was a native of Sweden,like yourself. Do you know how many films she made,how long was she working in the business,what ever became of her, etc.....I'd be pleased if you could possibly enlighten me on the subject. Cheers, druid,England.

Anuschka Marek was also known as Tove, although she is of polish origin, i believe.

I guess you're talking about a teen-like brunette, druid. I've seen her in some loops, but that's pretty much it. Isn't she Danish? (I saw her dubbed into German). At least the Color Climax company is Danish. As I'm sure you know, they have a pay website and it includes some kind of "classic" section, but whether there are any biographies etc to be offered, I don't know.

I've never seen Tove in any features, though. Some of her "stable-mates", like Knud Joergensen and Anne Magle, took that step.

Oh those golden days. They don't make them like that anymore. The only movies with any production value and basic storyline are made by the Italians, Salieri and D'Amato (RIP). They are obviously available on the net. The Americans, where I am based have lost the plot as far as I'm concerned. Too much of this Gonzo stuff. Anyway I'm fairly new here too. Any info on late 70's early 80's european stuff would be appreciated.

I do have some Color Climax tapes that are of good quality. They are NTSC so no good in the UK but if there is any interest in trading I can probably have them converted to DVD.

To the best of my knowledge Anuschka Marek is a different person to Tove, assuming that you're referring to Tove aka Tiny Tove aka Tove Jensen.

Also as far as I can establish Anuschka is Polish whereas Tove was from Denmark.

In my notes from that post I also have quite a bit of information about Tove's mother who was said to have been a stripper in Hamburg who then moved to Copenhagen where she did similar stage work (claimed to be similar to Bodil Joensen) which gives an indication of Tove's introduction to the industry, assuming it's true.

but i did lose the information which loop(s).

and i am sure you can find some Tove loops there too.
