police numbers cut when may was home secretary
Re: police numbers cut when may was home secretary
General election February Labour majority of 9, deal with the liberals and sdp, a rerun of the referendum, 70% remain, game over, she's the last tory prime minister. Tories split into centre-right and mental cases who never had the balls to go to ukip because they liked their comfortable majorities too much.
Re: police numbers cut when may was home secretary
I hope you are right with this prediction.
The vote on the 11th December is really going to be interesting.
Mrs May is getting a lot of flack today (quite rightly) because she says she is going to get MPs to vote again if they don't give her the result she wants first time round. So that's MPs get to vote again but not the public, nice one.
She has right royally mucked-up Brexit from day one. The only reason she is still in the job is because no one else wants to pick up the poisoned chalice.
She really is a dead woman walking now.

She looks like a corpse at the best of times though.
Re: police numbers cut when may was home secretary
Turnstiles have now replaced the cabinet room door
Re: police numbers cut when may was home secretary
Well so far today, the EU Law Officers have said the UK can cancel Brexit unilaterally, the government have been defeated twice in Parliament. The government have got to publish their legal advice in full and they have lost a vote that will now allow MPs to have a further say in what happens next.
Is this what they mean by "taking back control".
I hear this is the first time EVER a government has been found in contempt of parliament by defying the will of the Commons.
It's not even six o'clock yet.
I'm still laughing my arse off.
PS Happy Christmas Mrs May, it'll be the last one you spend in number ten.

Re: police numbers cut when may was home secretary
What a day. Yes it's the first time. She wanted to go down in history and now she will. The problem is it won't bother her. I don't think it's beyond her to lose the brexit vote, lose a no confidence vote and get the army out to keep her in power. She's been a dictator in waiting since the Tories squeezed in in 2010. Maybe someone should ask nick clegg who he wishes he'd sided with now.
There's not going to be any Brexit. There's no argument against a second vote. If you have a criminal trial and the evidence is found to be false or faked then there's an appeal and a retrial and almost all the leave 'evidence' was false or faked and that's without referring to the liar, the clown and the overage entrant in the beautiful baby competition.
let's hope Santa doesn't get too pissed laughing at her.

Funny how she suddenly turns against democracy when it's going to see her out of office.
Re: police numbers cut when may was home secretary
This women is costing me a fortune in popcorn and beer.
It'll be feet up and popcorn and beer again this evening as I watch to see whether see'll survive another day.
Again though, just like the referendum all this chaos is just to "settle" internal schisms within the Tory party. Nothing at all to do with the prosperity and good governance of the Nation.
What a bunch of bastards.
Come on Nina, where are you? I want to hear your defence of the current situation!
I'm reminded of David Cameron's tweet of the 3rd May 2015...........
"Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband"
LOL

Don't forget Cameron telling Corbyn to go at one PMQ's.
I'm amazed that anyone is believing all these tory mp's coming out in favour of her. It's meaningless. All that matters is what they cross on the ballot. It's like Thatcher all over again and I'm going for a similar result. 212 keep her, 103 want her out. She resigns tomorrow.
