I think I read they had all been tried, convicted, released on bail and told to leave the country (all within a few days of the event).
My reading was that they had simulated sex acts whilst all fully clothed. The Cambodian reaction appeared to be a bit over the top, but it's their country after all so if they don't like it they have the right to deal with it as they did.
