Hello?

Post by Sam Slater »

Where is everyone?

This place is as empty as a Jeremy Corbyn election celebration bash, post 2020!

Talking of Corbyn, has anyone noticed that as Corbyn got busier David Johnson posted less? One and the same? 😂

The site is dying on its arse now sadly Sam.

DJ (for me) started the decline but fukwits (who no doubt will also reply) added to it both while he was here and continued it's downfall after he thankfully left.

Little wonder the likes of Miss Hex and others stopped posting about fun stuff like gaming, many moons ago.

Site was (probably still is) getting a load of spammers (well the same guy with various names) and the other forums not just the OT are often fucked as well.

Feel for the mods and those who used to come to look at tits, discuss porn and have a bit of a crack on the OT as well because it used to be enjoyable.

I guess it has been a while since I was last here.

Is it any wonder that the monkey's confused?

I can't really talk given it takes two to tango re the spats with DJ!

Maybe a lot of people thought the site was a gonner after all the downtime it's had this last few years. I stopped checking it after a while.

Still, nice to see a few of us are still around. Regardless of the arguing i did see it as a little community of sorts 😀

Spammers for malware, webcam or TV announcements are among the problems here but with the greatest of respect to BGAFD, it has to take some of the responsibility for its loss of form over the years.

1) Failing to respond quickly enough/adequately against trolls. The zero tolerance policy at ADT is one of the reasons models/actresses visit regularly because the mods are more interested in having participation with performers/ex-performers than protecting "free speech"of trolls who call white knighting when people pick them out on their toxic behaviour.
2) The lack of communication with the downtime was frustrating and it wouldn't surprise me if that cost forum regulars. A holding page with an ETA would have given some people hope.
3) To be blunt, little about the forum has changed in more than 10 years yet the use of the way the industry (producers and performers alike) uses the internet to connect with fans has changed enormously. There's virtually no referencing to web-based content, no linking to social media or blogs to make a hub for industry performers to feel more encouraged to participate here. BGAFD could really do with a makeover to become modern and relevant.
