Re: Mario Salieri Films
Search for Mario Salieri as director.
Orgazmik indicate whether a DVD is PAL or NTSC. Some of those releqased by Marc Dorcel are NTSC.
I think some American labels have released some of his films, e.g. Dracula.

It's dispiriting you can't get Salieri's stuff in English. His stuff is so horny and lush. All about sex motivated by character. The first 15 minutes of Stavros there's no fucking, just story. And it works. Pop across to France and he's huge.
We just don't give European popular culture a second thought over here, let alone its porno (unless it's put together specifically for the US market, Rocco, Christoph Clark etc).
It's the same with comic books -- in the US/UK they're not taken at all seriously, they're not given any perceived value beyond kiddie/adolescent entertainment. In France and Italy (very joined at the hip when it comes to popular culture), 'les albums de bandes dessinees' (ie. comic books) cover as much fertile territory as the fiction section of your local bookshop. But the vast majority of it never gets translated.
There may be a small ray of sunshine. Marc Dorcel (big French producer/distributor) has started selling English-language R18 versions of his stuff over here. Some of it is absolutely fucking awful but if you see Une Nuit Au Bordel (A Night In The Brothel or whatever) then give it a go. I've got a feeling it's out but I'm not sure. It's directed by a guy called John B Root and it's horny as hell. Again, plot driven but done well; very French. It's quite glossy compared to earlier stuff but still deals with ordinary people and their relationships in a very down-to-earth way.
