Sadly the fashion these days is for girls to pump up their boobs and get "body art" and there's loads of peer pressure on this.

Over and above that, there are less "amateur" style sites out there as passwords are traded so often it's more difficult to make money from a low rent girl site.

Damn shame. !wink!

The best girl next door model I can think of is Satine Spark, and she has lasted a fair few years (by model standards). Just goes to show you don't need an arm full of tats and blow up tits to be a success in the game.

Something I picked up on another site is that the internet has not helped the true amateur / need the money models.

I've never been in the right place to ask face-to-face but years ago found a few in contact mags e.g. Matchmaker and local papers via a box number. These listings were unlikely to be found by family or friends. Also even if the private collector photographer circulated his photos & video with his mates again unlikely to be found.

Now with online model sites, adultwork, facebook, twitter, instagram, google image search etc. it is far more difficult to keep a sideline in high level solo shoots let alone b/g private either at the time or in the future. Hence another reason for the decline.

Yeah think you've got a great point there about social media.

It's a shame as it seems like the amateur scene is dying abit, which some may see as a good thing, but just think in another 10 years it'll all be studio girls looking overdone

I've photographed amateur models since the 80's but as already mentioned you just can't find them nowadays without God-awful tattoos. I've virtually given up and prefer to shoot fashion type models even though they are unlikely to take their knickers off.
