Endless cartoons that are all fronts for selling products. Sponge Bob must be written by someone on serious drugs because it totally baffles me.
Bring back Sally James and Sarah Greene.

They must be knocking on a bit now but I'll bet they're tasty milfs
Re: Whatever happened to classic kids tv??
There's no money in children TV, the advertising around it is heavily regulated, and kids don't have a lot of spending power. Most prefer to watch music stations or Skype their friends these days, too.
We have need of you again, great king.

Peter pretty much nails it on the head. The classic children`s serials used
to be great and stuff was not dumbed down as it all seems to be today.
But in any event, getting a child to watch something brain-stimulating on
the telly with you is a thing of the past; like half of the British race these
days, seems they can hardly drag their heads away from twitter, their friends on
the phone, play-station or the computer. Telly for kids - a vanished age.

I apprecuiate you guy all lamenting the loss of the glory days but you got to think these are th glory days for the new generation
Ive got kids and gotta say Sponge Bob is wildly original as is Fairly odd parents Even Pepa Pig made me smile
Even Wossy was saying how great Sponge Bob is
If there is no money in it then Im not sure how Pepa Pig World fgot a theme park and produced over 200 episodes as did Sponge Bob
Star Wars has a TV series which ois pretty darned good and theres more in the quality kids TV roster too.
Theres no shame in saying you just dont get it. I didnt have a choice but I think kids have got it great
Penguins Of madagascar is quite bawdy. Im sure adults make this to thrill themselves too

Re: Whatever happened to classic kids tv??
When I was around 14/15 in the mid to late eighties there was a programme called First Class if anyone remembers it, presented by Debbie Greenwood, who was a bit tasty.
