A legend has left us. A fantastic commentator. Fair, unbiased, a gent and a great player. The game of Cricket is poorer with his passing.

One of the truly great sports broadcasters, always completely impartial (never referred to Australia as 'we' during his broadcasts).

Take a look at his summing up of the infamous Trevor Chappell under arm ball from the early 80s.

Summers wont be the same again for many hardcore cricket fans around the world. I walked past Lords Cricket Ground today, I work about half a mile from there, and there are bouquets of flowers people have laid, in tribute to him, leaning against the wall outside. RIP Richie.
