Further Update on Steve

Ray Johnston‎>Stephen Doran
5 March at 19:42 ? Birkenhead ?

When I set up the fund for Stephen, I originally thought along the lines of a bench seat or such somewhere as a memorial. When I found he would have a paupers burial things changed and I felt it would be better for a proper burial. Chris Sargeant stepped in to help and has done a great job co-ordinating things in London. However, although we reached the target I set for Stephen's memorial. It has fallen a little short to pay for the funeral. If any of his Facebook friend haven't donated yet, can I ask that they consider doing so at rhttp://www.gofundme.com/mgwaqw? We are about ?400 short. I would welcome some more donations. The cheque has been sent off and the crematorium fees which will be paid next week.
I might add that Chris has now found out that Stephen died of hardening of the arteries.

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

Steve56 Funeral today

Post by Jonboy »

Hello,

Re Steve56

His funeral took place today at Kensal Green and attended by his mother and around 17 friends from afar as Somerset, Wirral, Hampshire
The attendees were one school friend and the remainder Facebook friends who Steve knew from his music and TV perhaps one from the Forum.
It is good to say Steve had friends and while he lived a solitary life his internet friends remembered him with affection.
It was a delight to meet Ray and I for one am thankful to him for arranging the funeral
Steve56 RIP
