Re: Cliff Richard.

Re: Cliff Richard.
Cliff always denied that he liked men, but everyone knew he did. His 'lodger and friend' who has resided in his house for many years was always suspected to be his male lover.
This story, I saw it on the news earlier, involves something he allegedly did concerning a boy under 16. This was back in the 1980's, and I'm not sure what the Police hope to find searching his house today which would establish whether he did or did not do the thing he's been accused of.

It is all a part of the pantomime the police go through in these cases. As Sir Cliff has pointed out, it is odd that the press all seemed to know his house was going to be searched. Still, if the plod involved are all as thick as the one from South Yorkshire who didn't even know how to pronounce "Berkshire", then I reckon he will get off.

There's a pattern here.

Re: Cliff Richard.
It seems like the media were tipped off, it's hard for things not to get leaked nowadays with Police departments conversing with each other online and on mobiles, many of these means of correspondence have likely been hacked into.
I saw the guy mispronounce 'Berkshire' on TV. If he's not from down south he might not know how it is exactly pronounced or it might be his way of speaking. As we know it is pronounced 'Barkshire', he said 'Berkshire', it's an odd one because the shortened version is pronounced 'Berks' rather than 'Barks'.

Cliff and his 'companion'...
It seems almost certain these two are a couple, they live in the same house and he's been at Cliff's side everywhere he goes for a long time. In this day and age, where nothing negative happens to you if you announce publicly that you're gay, I don't know why Cliff doesn't come out.

Because he has spent the last 55 years denying he is gay so would look a bit odd now...

Re: Cliff Richard.
This 'news' report is probably closer to the truth than the real news
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
