Well done, Andy Murray

Post by David Johnson »

Having watched Wimbledon on the tele every year since I was a kid, I thought I would never see this moment.

Congrats Mr. Murray.

77 years is a long time. Wiggins wins the Tour, Murray is now the Wimbledon and US Open Champion, Justin Rose wins US Open Golf, McIlroy wins USPGA.......a fine time to be a British fan..Cue Rule Britannia and jingoistic headlines!!

Yes, well it is 67 years since a Frenchman won Wimbledon, whereas it is only about two and half hours since a British bloke won Wimbledon!!!!

So a obnoxious twat who hired a PR person to help his media profile as he wasn't liked by the public because he was a obnoxious twat.

Considering this is level of human being who will now lauded by one and all I'd rather take the never won Wimbledon but was a decent bloke and ambassador embodying sportsmanship option.

At least te SNP can crawl up his arse because his Scottish and Dave Cameron can do likewise spouting jingoistic crap about Britain.

i was more interested in his effusive greeting for Ivan Lendl and his less than enthusiastic embrace of his girlfriend...
