Conspiracy Theories

Post by Ken Shabby »

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day, and he was telling me about how he thought the moon missions were fake. He didn't exactly convince me, but it made for an interesting conversation (That was days ago actually, but I've been so busy that I've only just gotten around to posting a topic). Anyone else intrigued by conspiracy theories? Anyone have any favourite ones?

There are very few genuine conspiracies - most are just cock-ups.

My mother is adamant they faked the moon landings and I avoid any mention of said things or risk a rant etc.
Personally 9/11 was a false flag, far too well co-ordinated and a beautiful piece of controlled demolition.

Amazing how all the tinfoil-hatters suddenly all become "demolition experts" when talking about 9/11 isn't it. !laugh!

And before you start AV, yes I'm aware that there is a group of so-called "experts" (centered around that charlatan Danny Jowenko) who claim it was a controlled demolition, all that stuff about Building 7 etc. etc.

But most of the 9/11 CTs can be and have been debunked ad nauseum to the point that the whole thing is just getting boring now.

It's just that they won't go away because there are too many sad-lads in basements who think that "X-Files" and "Prison Break" are all real, and continue to perpetuate this idiocy.

As to others: Moon landings fake? Bollocks (newsflash: "Capricorn One" was just a film).

JFK: Much more likely there was far more to that one than meets the eye.

The list is a long one and I don't have time to go into them all. Suffice to say that each one has to be judged on its own and on its own merits.

Basically I'm in agreement with Essex Lad on this. Most are cock-ups (like 9/11) not actual conspiracies.

I think it's the smaller, simpler CT's which have possibilities. Dr David Kelly for example.

My favourite is Myra Hindley. Apparently the European court was going to rule that she had to be released, so the government, knowing that the british public would not stand for it, and the government would fall if they allowed it, ghosted her away to a new life in Canada or New Zealand. She did develop and die from cancer (pneumonia) very quickly. Not that I believe that's what happened, but it's all very much possible and believable.

As for the moon landings, about 90% of the cost and problems were with the Saturn V rocket, and escaping earths pull. The rest of it is so relatively simple that it would have been easier and cheaper to go to the moon to shoot the footage than faking it on earth.

And the big problem with all these big CTs is, you need thousands of people involved to make it happen, yet no-one ever breaks the silence they've supposed to be sworn to. No secrecy clause is that good.

We have need of you again, great king.

At first I thought 'Oh no, here we go again', as they are without exception twaddle, but there is one CT I would subscribe to, and that is the so far successful plan by a tiny minority of the population of the world to enrich themselves beyond the dreams of avarice at the expense of everybody else. The super-rich just keep getting richer whilst the rest of us simply get screwed with worthless pensions, rising food prices and more and more legislation piled on us to protect them from our wrath.

It's funny how readily people are quite happy to blindly accept the version of events concerning 9/11 handed down by a Right wing warmonger, George W Bush, but laugh at "conspiracy theorists" like the peolple below:
