Interesting! Have seen it described as deceptively simple, which is an accurate description. I'm certainly not clever enough to understand every nuance but nontheless it is a fascinating read.

The sinisterness of the whole Nazi regime is certainly not diminished by the graphical representation, ie portraying the villains as cats.

No matter what form I read about that period and the holocaust I still find it difficuly to understand how one group of the human race can inflict such things on another group, still terrifying, as it is such recent history.

Would recommend it, you will probably "get" more of it and can report back.

Reading the instructions on how to assemble a kettle barbecue, shortly to be followed by some barbecue marinade/sauce recipes. Listening to some old harmonica blues music and having a wee swally of usquebae.

Cheers. I don't know about getting more of it, though. Quite dense at times!

I'm pretty sure my sister told me kids don't learn much about the Holocaust in school these days. It might be something worth getting and passing on to my niece and nephew too.
