I tried to learn to play using his book,gave up after a week. Still a legend though.

I remember Bert Weedon from when I was a child, her must have done more to get people starting playing the guitar than anyone else.
I wonder how many guitar bands there would be without him.

Remember him on TV with pussycat Willum and Muriel Young from my childhood years.
Bought his book play in a day etc 20 years later I'm no further forward, no chance of a refund now.
