How long now Arsene?

Post by Arginald Valleywater »

Seven seasons without a trophy and totally outplayed by a bunch of Mackems. Sorry Arsene but your time is up. Move aside or Arsenal will go into steep decline. The team is the weakest I can remember in the Premier League years and the likes of Walcott and Squillaci are inferior players on star money. The fact that we are struggling, you had money to spend and bought nothing shows arrogance and a total lack of respect for the fans. ?1000 for a season ticket should entitle fans to a decent team, not this shower of light weights.

Here. Here. I have not even bothered to go the see one match this season. I don't mind losing but I do mind no effort and very poor play. I have even stopped watching them on T.V as I do not waste my time on a team that have no heart.
As much as it pains me to say it is a pleasure to see the team spirit and drive that Spurs have even Swansea and Norwich seem to have a unity on the pitch.

You Arsenal supporters do like a moan. Misery loves company!

Arsene Wenger explained everything in full after the match and you should show him more respect. As he said, Arsenal played the better football and were unfortunate in being denied a clear penalty. Sunderland then scored with their first shot of the match, which took a deflection anyway. If Arsenal laboured at times, it's because the pitch wasn't ideal and didn't suit Arsenal's style, plus the way fixtures are scheduled meant that Arsenal had a testing Champions League game in midweek whereas Sunderland had a free week in which to prepare, giving them an obvious advantage. The second goal was simply Arsenal being caught on the break when pushing forward for an equaliser and it's no disgrace to concede in those circumstances, especially when it was just an unfortunate own goal anyway and another instance of Sunderland getting lucky. On top of everything else Arsenal were forced into 3 substitutions because of injury, which shows that sometimes it just isn't your day. Take all the above into consideration and you can understand why Arsene Wenger said "I felt we were a bit unlucky".

I am 47 I moan about everything. My moan about Arsenal is the level of commitment as a player not the eithos of the club. Plus the food is fucking disgusting at the Emmirates. Give me an old fashioned burger van anyday.
As for injuries bloody hell I remember playing when we got kicked the fuck out of what are these players made of nowadays?

Arsene can explain as much he likes...but the performances are crap. As my MD says, don't give me excuses, give me answers to the problems..

Why? He shows the fans no respect by claiming that anyone who disagrees with him is an idiot

It's the same pitch we won 2-1 on last Saturday.

These players get ?50k a week upwards and win/draw bonuses - is it too much to ask them to earn that money for 270 minutes work?

Hang on I thought it was "lucky Arsenal"?

No it shows we are not good enough and neither is a manager whose stated ambition is to finish fourth.

Arsene can explain as much he likes...but the performances are crap. As my MD says, don't give me excuses, give me answers to the problems.

But Wenger doesn't need to give his MD - Ivan Gazidis - excuses. He has his full backing already.

I watched them through the late 70s and early 80s when they won fuck all but at least they had spirit and love for the club and put some effort in.Now this overpaid bunch of foreign mercenaries turn up every week and look like they couldnt give a fuck whether they win lose or draw.It doesnt matter if they dont even play they still pick up their 50 grand a week.I remember watching them in 2004 when they went unbeaten and in one particular game they had 5 players on the bench who were all world cup winners and couldnt even get in the first team. One by one he has sold them and not replaced them with the same quality instead buying shit like squillachi, arshavin, denilson, bentner, djourou, walcott, diaby.almunia, fabianski and a motley collection of has beens and 15 year old African kids and unknowns who havent even played in the reserves. The cunt is stubborn and arrogant and refuses to admit his way doesnt work.
In a way i am glad they are doing shit as the continued lack of success means hopefully thousands of the johnny come lately cunts who go to the Emirates will fuck off and the old school support will come back.
And Marino just for the record it is NEVER a pleasure to watch anything those cunts spurs do
