Aha the NOTW rises from the flames....
Re: Sunday Sun
It will be interesting to see whether any of the big advertisers will actually want to be associated with it.
Re: Sunday Sun
My sister, who is an extremely articulate and clever woman is a Sun reader and took the NoTW. Why the fuck I dunno, but when it closed I told her that it would be back as the Sun on Sunday. Seems I was correct.

Well it seems as though the name had been Copyrighted days before the NOTW shut down. So this has been the plan all along,

Re: Sunday Sun
Did you honestly think Murdoch would leave a gap and not try to fill it by other means. Its business. Be produced in the same office by the same people.... the only thing being the name no longer NOTW but SOS......
Think the name itself is quite adpt SOS becasue his polularity has dwindled somewhat...

Yeh, copyrighted for the simple reason that they knew they were going to close the NoTW as a sop to society for the scandal caused and a replacement was needed. I have never bought either of the rags but have read them in various cafes where I breakfast and I have always thought that the two are more or less the same.
