Gobsmacking programme.
The bit where the penguins arrived from stage left in slo-mo as if they were surfing the top of the wave was awesome.
Just one thing though, ever since I have seen this programme I have felt an urgent desire to have violent sex with a polar bear!!!!!
Given the huge number of people watching this programme, I can't believe I am the only one who has developed this perversion.
So dear forumites, should the Frozen Planet be pulled from our screens, the showing of violent polar bear porn on TV banned and David Attenborough arrested?
I await your considered views with interest.
Cheers
D

Re: Dear Forumites...
If you don't have a preference with regard to the gender of the bear I suspect you may be bi-polar !

!grin! !grin! Good one.
And I thought I was just depressed because there aren't any polar bears in the local zoo! Your psychoanalysis explains all.

Agree with the HD comment. Notable that you never seem to hear of the Mail and NewsCorp press bumping their gums about this sort of high quality programming on the BBC.

Another mesmerising Attenborough classic! Where do you start? The pelicans mating dance, the elephant seal fight, the great ice break up,amazing stuff.

It's the BBC at it's best.
I always like the video diary part at the end, showing the problems in doing the filming.
I understand it took four years to make.
