"Latest news, Rebekah Brooks arrested."

On a Sunday?

Now she is out of the way there is no firebreak to Murdoch so now undoubtedly attention will shift to the Murdoch family/News corp with questions of their role in all of this. Is there going to be a winner?

I getting a bit sick of this already and she should be appearing in the commons on Tuesday, she won't be now. Maybe she paid the police and they though shit she is going to tell all, best get her out of the way?

We just need a death now and it will be on!

Am I the only one who thinks that Rupert and the boys have 'extensive files' that have never seen the light of day on a lot of people, and the smug MPs and coppers who re dancing on his grave are going to be facing a shitstorm, when this comes out, either officially, or via a wikileaks event?

As someone said the other day, Boris Johnson is strangely quiet on the topic, maybe he's realised what they know about him, and is hoping he gets left out when the payback starts.

We have need of you again, great king.

More likely Boris is regretting calling the whole affair a put-up job by Labour, and hoping that if he doesn't say too much people will forget his stupidity.

"Forget Boris's stupidity"

Impossible, I would have thought, unless he is goes into hiding for the foreseeable future.

I meant the stupidity of that particular remark, rather than in the general sense. I must say though, having filmed him last week at a BMX track in east London, he's a good laugh, happy to play up to the 'Boris' image and on the surface very likeable. I wish a few more politicos were as easy and accessible for us hard pressed cameramen.
