Watching some old Woody Allen.

Post by jimslip »

They're selling Woody Allen films here for a couple of quid and I'd forgotten how funny some of his stuff is. Here's a lovely bit in "Bananas" where an old lady is mugged by 2 hoods, inluding a very young Sylvester Stallone. Watch the bit with the crutches on the floor! lol

Are you mad number6 ? "Love and Death" is the best and funniest parody
of historical epics ever made ! And Woody Allen as the fugitive in futuristic
"Sleeper" who has to make out he is a robot, but then does not want to
give up his orgasmatron, is just about the funniest scene in movies, not to
mention being a great parody of sci-films !

A great homage to Gershwin and the Big Apple.

This was quite funny, actually very funny, he plays a failed theatrical agent with wacky acts. When I worked in the theatre you'd see these sort of acts in the back of The Stage, dodgy ventriloquists and jugglers.

The Sweet And Lowdown with Sean Penn is well worth seeing.

I love What's New Pussycat, although he didn't direct it, he wrote it and some of the funniest scenes and one liners that have always remained with me.

I'm sorry, but this twatt is not the least bit funny to me.
Very few yanks pull my chain.
Mash is probably the all time funny yank comedy and all of the charachters were funny.
Cheers and Taxi were exceptionally funny but not all of the cast were funny.
Nearer to home I don't find Macentyre funny nor that fat useless yellow bellied bastard Gervais.
I know a lot will disagree with me, but, hey, by now you should realise I don't give a fuck if you do.
