U2 at Glastonbury

Great set,Bono hit every note,Edge's playing was terrific.Despite the rain 5* all the way.Best kick ass rock and roll band in the world bar none! (IMHO!)

I watched it, it was rather odd though that we had to change channels for half an hour then change back again, but a great set by U2. Bono often says silly things in public, there are awkward silences as he approaches the mic at award ceremonies because no one knows what he might say, and gigs are very similar.





He has only been doing this sort of thing since he got into the irony thing 20 years ago, and I am often watching through my fingers as to what he might say or do next. The extent of it last night was the way he was smirking as he sang 'Jerusalem'.

It was a good gig last night though. I've seen them live a few times over the years.

Can't really ask for a better festival headliner with that back catalogue.

Good, not great show. The edge is a decent musician but the other two players are pretty average.
