CUTS,CUTS,CUTS
Re: CUTS,CUTS,CUTS/ ITS ALL BOLLOCKS
These cuts are not a lie, they are happening. Yes,of course, there would have been cuts had labour got elected again, but scrapping EMA? Cutting housing benefit after a year if you are on the dole? Privatising forests? Breaking up the NHS? No,this things would never have happened under a labour govt.
frontline definition
When councils talk about making staff redundant they are only talking about the ones they directly employ, theres no mention of those who end up loosing employment due to the cuts/termination made to contracts agreed with other providers (companies) to provide services to the council.
This means the job loss levels and impact to the community are hidden.

Re: Jimbo
Yet again you attempt to divert attention away from the truth with ridicule. Your puppet masters have you well trained David. However, it must be a little uncomfortable having Prescott's arm stuck up your arse operating your jaw though!!laugh!
Anyway, I digress, the way you argue is a little like an arsonist phoning the fire brigade, after he's burnt a house to the ground, shouting at them, "God, you took your time, in my day you'd have been here in 30 seconds flat, you make me all sick, look everyone, how shit the fire brigade is.......!"
Naturally, as soon as the assembled crowd hears that is was actually YOU who set fire to the house, you are dragged off and hung from the nearest tree and quite right too!
In my little analogy, The country is "The House", "The arsonist" represents a New Labour activist (You) and the "fire brigade", is, The Coalition".

Ive got a bunch of coolies in the backyard
"We COULD have been in the same boat as an Asian economy"
Agreed. As an experiment I have a bunch of coolies making teeshirts in my backyard at Johnson Towers in Blackpool. 5p an hour and all the rice and noodles they can eat.
Then in the evening we go and collect cockles in Morecambe Bay. I counted them all out and counted them. ... Oooh err we've lost a few.
It's an economic renaissance down my street I can tell you.
Cheers

PS That Bush must be pissed off with Gordon Brown causing the recession in the USA.

Good point. What a lot of people do not realise is that the private sector and the public sector are very much intertwined. Therefore when you hammer the public sector, you are also hammering the private sector such as construction who are very dependent on those capital projects that have been pulled.
