I see that Jet2 . com are advertising flights to Tunisia on tv, so they obviously know something the Foreign Office dont about the situation there.

What does the FO know about any fucking thing?
I have met British diplomats abroad and I stay thankfull that I never had to rely on them, ever.
They seemed to me, and other colleagues, to be so far up their own arses that they had a brown hue on everything.
Probably 1 in 10 had a work ethic that was to represent her Maj and her subjects. The majority were on a good time at the taxpayers expense, and probably still are.
But, I am biased from what I saw at the time.

No problem. It is hard to forget some of em though.
I am just thankful that I haven't had to rely on any of them and I dread the day when I may have to.
