Scrounger of the Year award 2010

Post by David Johnson »

Hi,

We hate these bloody scroungers don't we? Defrauding the state, the useless sods. Why don't they get a proper job paying taxes like all the rest of us. We have to slave away getting by on our pittance after the tax is taken by this government.

So in the interests of fairness I am setting up the Scrounger of the Year award 2010. Max has made an opening foray by putting forward some bloke who was begging to make a few quid on the side.

I feel the key requirement to get the Scrounger of the Year award 2010 (Great Britain and Northern Ireland) on December 31st will have to be the scale of the money trousered. We are not really talking a few hours cleaning bogs where a bastard scrounger doesn't tell the dole. We are talking big time. I am hoping the idea may catch on and the winner of the GB and NI award, a bit like Miss GB will go on to a World Scrounger of the Year award 2011.

Today, boys and girls, I put forward Patrick and Mary Small of Dungannon.

?4.6 million tax fraud where they stashed millions of pounds in offshore bank accounts. Get this, the toerags carried on claiming tax credits as well!!!

Fuck me, 4.6 million, that's a lot of begging, ain't it?

I look forward to other contributions for the Scrounger of the Year award. The ceremony could be quite a glittering occasion.

Cheers
D

In the interests of fair reporting I have got the Daily Mail and Daily Express to sponsor the December 31st Gala Ball where the winner of the Scrounger of the Year award 2010 will be announced.

Details to follow.....

David,David,David, I doubt that a person such as yourself could bear to contact such rags. I mean, they have the temerity to say things that you disagree with, so must be total lies.

"Will you yourself be presenting the trophy and will there be any prize money?"

I'm hoping to get a celebrity scrounger (must have a conviction) to present the trophy. As to prize money, that depends on how much the Daily Mail and Daily Express are prepared to cough up.

Dick,
Since you obviously missed it first time round.

"I'm hoping to get a celebrity scrounger (must have a conviction) to present the trophy".

The key words are "must have a conviction" i.e. a conviction in a court for scrounging such as tax evasion, fraud, fraudulently obtaining benefits etc etc.

Do try and keep up!

Sorry David, my mistake.
Pity all his expense claims disappeared.

Why "this government"?
Don't we have to pay tax to any government?
