How far can home routers reach....i need one to reach from about 1000 feet plus, not sure if you can get one that will do this but if you can does anyone know where etc.
The actual distance is about 700 feet from my home where i will be setting up webcams/shows etc so it needs to be reliable & up to the task.

Re: Help please from techno's...
You could get a set of Nanonstation's from ubqt networks, it will set you back around ?100-?120 for the pair, but they will easily allow what you want.
The airmax Nanostation
"150+ Mbps real outdoor throughput and up to 15km+ range".
Cheapest ive seen it is 59.99 without shipping
http://www.ubnt.com/nanostationm
The Nanostation loco
"25+Mbps real outdoor throughput and up to 10km+ range"
Cheapest ive seen it is 44.99 without shipping

Failing that you could try getting a router which allows you to change the antenna's, in the past i've been able to tripple the range of them by doing so, whilst maintaining low latency and the same throughput.
